Norfolk author releases new novel
Published: 5 March 2026

Norfolk-based author Linda Hartley has released her latest novel, Angel Wing, a moving story that spans three generations of women in one family.
The book touches on themes of love, loss, guilt, trauma, and betrayal, set against the backdrop of post-war Britain.
The story follows Ellen, who in 1955 travels from Newcastle to Belfast searching for her mother, Liza, only to be caught in a life-changing accident. Through Ellen’s journey and the lives of those around her—including a young German pilot—readers are drawn into a poignant tale of resilience, identity, and the lasting effects of childhood experiences during wartime.

Linda Hartley is not only a novelist but also a trained somatic movement therapist and psychotherapist. She studied dance and creative writing at Dartington College of Arts and has led professional training programmes across Europe. Today, she runs retreats in Authentic Movement at her North Norfolk studio.
Angel Wing is available in paperback and Kindle editions via Amazon and all major bookshops. For more information about the author and her work, visit www.lindahartley.co.uk.
