Norwich Ceramics Market lands at The Forum

Published: 26 September 2025

On Sunday 7th December 2025, The Forum will host the very first Norwich Ceramics Market — a brand-new event celebrating the energy and originality of the UK’s indie pottery scene.

The market is organised by Nicole Flack, the Norfolk-based ceramic artist behind Cretaceous Creations. Known in the underground ceramics community for her dinosaur-inspired work, Flack has built a cult following for her playful yet functional designs. Now she’s bringing that same rebellious spirit home to Norwich.

More than 50 makers from across the UK are confirmed, offering everything from functional mugs, plates, and bowls to imaginative ceramics inspired by animals, dinosaurs, and mythical creatures. It’s a showcase of what Flack calls the Homegrown Pottery Society — not just a group, but an ethos that celebrates handmade, accessible, and fiercely original work.

With ceramics booming in popularity thanks to shows like The Great Pottery Throw Down and a growing appetite for shopping local, the timing couldn’t be better. And with Christmas just around the corner, the market is the perfect place to pick up unique gifts while supporting independent makers.
