Hellesdon & Sprowston Brass Band and Norfolk Wherry Brass unite for a special concert it Norwich this September.

The two local brass bands will unite for a special evening of music at St Cuthbert’s Church on Wroxham Road. 

Hellesdon & Sprowston Brass Band, originally called the Norwich Lads Club Band, is based at St Paul’s Church in Hellesdon. Norfolk Wherry Brass was formed in 2004 and practices at New Victory Hall in Neatishead.

The two bands joined forces in June 2025 to perform at events across the summer.

The bands will unite once again on Saturday 20th September at 7.30pm, at St Cuthbert’s Church, 2 Wroxham Road, Norwich NR7 8TZ. Entry is free – just turn up!
