A touch of pantomime magic will be bringing the woodland at ROARR! Dinosaur Park to life this December, thanks to a new partnership with Norwich Theatre.

Festive Forest Fables – A Cinderella Illuminated Fairytale will see the classic story of Cinderella reimagined as a sparkling illuminated trail, complete with twinkling lights, larger-than-life props and plenty of theatrical surprises. Families can follow the woodland path to meet familiar characters, cheeky performers and magical moments around every corner.

The event is part of ROARR!’s Sparkle Christmas celebrations and ties in with Norwich Theatre’s own production of Cinderella, which takes to the stage this winter.

Stephen Crocker, Chief Executive and Creative Director at Norwich Theatre, said: “This illuminated Cinderella fairytale is a bold and magical new venture for Norwich Theatre Beyond, which sees theatre take place in unconventional spaces. It’s an exciting opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for audiences in the heart of Norfolk and to share theatre in ways that reach beyond our stages.”

Alongside the illuminated trail, visitors to Sparkle can enjoy the park’s award-winning grotto — where even dogs are welcome to meet Father Christmas — plus a Christmas market packed with seasonal gifts and festive food.
