Published: 19 September 2025

YMCA Norfolk has announced the return of its Annual Celebration Awards, which will take place in Norwich this autumn.
The event, set for Wednesday 16 October at The Space on Roundtree Way, will bring together young people, staff, volunteers and supporters for an evening recognising the achievements and impact made across Norfolk communities over the past year.
Guests can expect to hear powerful personal stories from YMCA clients and staff, alongside a digital review highlighting the charity’s milestones. The night will also feature a celebratory awards ceremony honouring those who have gone above and beyond in their work with the organisation.
“We often meet young people at the most difficult moment in their life.”
Speaking ahead of the event, YMCA Norfolk’s chief executive John Lee said: “At YMCA Norfolk, we often meet young people at the most difficult moment in their life. It’s our privilege to be there for them and empower them as they begin to rebuild. We get to witness their journey of transformation and celebrate their achievements. This evening is about celebrating their achievements. We are also excited to welcome guests to reflect on YMCA Norfolk’s past year and look ahead to the future we’re building together.”
Doors open at 5.30pm with networking and refreshments, before the main event starts at 6pm. The awards are open to supporters, partners and members of the public keen to find out more about YMCA Norfolk’s work.
